Our services seek to help provide education, training, accreditation, stable career paths and employment opportunities for Queensland’s:

  • Youth
  • School attendees
  • Early school leavers
  • Indigenous
  • Mature aged
  • Para-able
  • At-risk or underprivileged

We also aim to help Queensland businesses find reliable, skilled and dedicated staff, driving the local economy and creating more employment in Southeastern Queensland communities.

We firmly believe that people have access to education and skills development programs tailored to their individual needs. Everyone can reach their full potential and find a meaningful and rewarding career path that can improve lives and strengthen our communities.

Our history
The Beginning- 1997- Worklinks Group – Brisbane North West
Worklinks began in 1997 under the name 'Worklinks Group – Brisbane North West.' The focus was on the coordination of work experience placements for four schools in Brisbane’s north-west suburbs. The Management Committee was quickly established with Don Fischle as President.
The Organisation
In our first year of operation, a total of 103 students were placed into work experience through the work of just two casual staff members. The first Chief Executive Officer of Worklinks, Jan Robinson, was appointed on a casual basis in 1998 as the Worklinks coordinator. The organisation became incorporated in July 1998 and changed its name in December to recognise the fact we now offered our programs and services beyond the Brisbane North West boundaries.
One of three State finalists at the Queensland Training Awards
In 2009, Worklinks was one of three State finalists at the Queensland Training Awards in the Skilling for the Future category, an award that recognises excellence in implementing alternative training and education opportunities for school students.
The Future
The current CEO, Stacey Turnbull, took over in 2020 and is excited to be part of Worklinks' future. The organisation has progressively grown since its humble beginnings, with programs now offered in Mitchelton, Deception Bay, Kippa-Ring, Strathpine and Caboolture. .

Worklinks is the sole provider of Transition to Work employment services for young people in the Sommerset region, and we are proud of the innovative programs we offer parents through our Parents Next service and the support offered via our own Registered Training Organisation.
