The Transition to Work employment service is in place to help those between the ages of 15 to 24 to find a successful career path. Our intensive pre-employment support and training help our youth to be work-ready, inclusive of apprenticeships and traineeships.

The Transition to Work program can provide various forms of support, including:

  • Community services relevant to the individual’s needs
ParentsNext

Skilling Queenslanders for Work

Skilling Queenslanders for Work is a Queensland Government initiative that funds training and support for the unemployed and underemployed. The program provides focused support, in particular, for people coming from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Get Set for Work

Get Set for Work is another initiative focussed on improving education, skill sets, employment opportunities and more for disadvantaged and at-risk members of our Queensland community. The Get Set for Work program is available for those aged between 15-19 years, helping them to receive nationally recognised and accredited training.
