The Course

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) empowers you with the practical skills and confidence to recognise when a young person (aged 12–18) may be struggling — and the tools to step in and support them when it matters most.

With mental health challenges affecting a growing number of young Australians, knowing how to respond can make a life-changing difference. This course goes beyond theory, giving you real-world strategies to start meaningful conversations, respond to crisis situations, and guide young people toward the help they need.

Whether you’re a teacher, parent, caregiver, or work with young people in any capacity, this training equips you to make a genuine impact in your community.
